Letter to the Editor: Good sportsmanship a must during UCLA v. USC game, events

One of the greatest traditions in college sports has long been the storied rivalry between UCLA and USC, most notably on display in the weeks leading up to our football teams’ showdown on the gridiron. Although we wear different colors and root for opposing teams, UCLA and USC stand together in our hope that this weekend’s game is a safe, respectful and fun experience for all of our students and fans.

All of Los Angeles and beyond will be watching and we expect Bruins and Trojans alike to display the very best of the UCLA and USC spirit. We expect everyone to show sportsmanship and respect for others, for their universities, but most importantly for themselves.

This Saturday is an important day to show people everywhere what it means to be part of world-renowned research universities like UCLA and USC. We trust all of you will work hard to make us proud.

So have a fantastic time at the big game. Go Bruins! And Fight on Trojans!

  1. Yes, good sportsmanship by Bruins is vital. Otherwise, while playing u$¢, you wouldn’t see any at all.
