Pulling out garbage bags of fresh bananas and cartons of unexpired eggs from a dumpster, students forage for food with friends. In particular, fourth-year political science student, Joanna Wheaton, spends her Friday nights dumpster diving to eliminate local food waste within her community.

The Undergraduate Student Association Council hosted an event for members of the UCLA community to support those that were affected by the Boston Marathon bombings. Through letter writing and a blood drive, people come together to honor the bombing victims.

This was the first time that female boxing champions were recognized on the national college circuit. Luba and Keck share the emotions they felt fighting for the first time.
