President Barack Obama was reelected to a second term as president of the United States on Tuesday, defeating Republican candidate Mitt Romney.

UCLA women’s soccer has garnered a No. 3 seed in the NCAA championships, which begin Friday.

The Daily Bruin won a Pacemaker ““ widely considered the most prestigious award in college journalism ““ for best feature magazine and two other awards at an annual national college media convention.

The Associated Collegiate Press/College Media Advisers convention, held in Chicago this weekend, marked the first time that prime, the Daily Bruin’s quarterly magazine, won the Pacemaker.

UCLA took a 66-10 win over Arizona on Friday night, putting the team in first place in the Pac-12 South.
