Practice, 10/14
The intensity level at practice today was extremely high.
Terrence Austin was moving extremities
UPDATE: AUSTIN WAS MOVING HIS EXTREMITIES AND CONSCIOUS. HE’S ON HIS WAY TO RIVER BEND HOSPITAL TO BE CHECKED FOR SPINAL INJURIES.
UCLA wide receiver Terrence Austin has taken a huge hit to the head from Oregon free safety TJ Ward. Austin has been down for minutes and isn’t moving. The typically-loud Autzen Stadium has fallen nearly silent. Players and coaches are either kneeling on the sidelines or standing over Austin. It looks like Austin will be immobilized and carted off the field. We will post any new information as we receive it.
UCLA-Oregon, Third Quarter
Freshman Derrick Coleman has started the second half at tailback, we don’t know the severity of Kahlil Bell’s ankle injury.
UCLA-Oregon, Second Quarter
Masoli just ran for another first down on third and long; his running is really the only thing that’s working right now for the Ducks. He gained 80 yards in the first quarter and has already got a few more the second.
