TEMPE, Ariz. “”mdash; UCLA players and coaches meet the media after the Bruins’ 73-72 victory over Arizona State Saturday.

The Bruins gave up another big lead and let the game go to overtime before finally putting it away.

UCLA sophomore forward Reeves Nelson was especially short with the media, insisting that there was no cause for concern after the lead was blown.

At the midway point of the Pac-10 season, the Bruins are 6-3 and prepare to start round two of Pac-0 play Wednesday when they take on USC.

The Bruins turned the ball over 9 times in the first half but the Sun Devils didn’t capitalize, giving the Bruins a 32-19 lead at halftime.

Ben Howland opted to go with a smaller starting lineup to match ASU’s speedy, four-guard lineup. Junior Jerime Anderson was inserted into the starting lineup in place of redshirt freshman Anthony Stover.
