The project provides care for soldiers who were severely wounded or disfigured in Iraq and Afghanistan, such as retired Army Sergeant First Class Michael Schlitz.

A fire at the Center for Health Sciences building this morning was extinguished, and all people in the building were evacuated, authorities said.
The fire was on the fifth floor of the building, according to a BruinAlert message sent out at 11:51 a.m.
Despite having scored only four goals in their last six games, the UCLA women’s soccer team could not stop hitting the back of the net on Friday.
