UCLA defeats Arizona 56-30
Despite losing junior linebacker Myles Jack for the rest of the season, freshman quarterback Josh Rosen and the UCLA Bruins defeated the Arizona Wildcats 56-30 in a stadium dominated by Arizona fans.

UCLA blows out UNLV 37-3
UCLA defeated UNLV Saturday night 37-3, led by redshirt junior Paul Perkins’ 151 rushing yards and two touchdowns. As freshman quarterback Josh Rosen torched the Virginia defense with his arm Sept. 6, Perkins touched the ball sparingly. But Rosen took a back seat to the Pac-12′s reigning rushing leader in game two.

UCLA defeats Virginia 34-16
UCLA’s Saturday season opener against Virginia had a fair amount of breathtaking moments, but they were all for the latter reason as the rookie’s strong throwing, pocket presence and overall composure anchored the Bruins’ 34-16 win over the Cavaliers.
