No. 1 Wildcats defeat Bruins, 79-75
Facing the nation’s No. 1 team in the Arizona Wildcats and in front of a sellout crowd, UCLA men’s basketball nearly came away with a win. The Bruins came back from a 13-point deficit to tie the game in the final minutes, but were unable to hold on, eventually losing to the Wildcats 79-75.

UCLA began Pac-12 play with an emphatic 107-73 win over USC on Sunday. The Bruins had three players – sophomore guard/forward Kyle Anderson, sophomore guard Jordan Adams and freshman guard Bryce Alford – score 20 or more points while shooting 57.7 percent for the game.
