This project is intended to highlight the experience of transgender, nonbinary and gender-nonconforming students at UCLA. Through the scope of the university, we explore the intersectionality of mental health, gender and identity. Graduating fourth-year student Aubrey Sassoon helps us navigate the political and internal landscapes often faced by transgender students in the academic system.

There is a stigma surrounding mental health that discourages people from speaking out about their experiences. Seven UCLA students work against this stigma by openly discussing their mental health history.
