California effects new DREAM Act
Undocumented students in California may soon be able to receive financial aid under the latest California DREAM Act, which consists of two bills introduced to the California State Assembly in January by Assemblyman Gilbert Cedillo.
Assembly Bill 130 would allow undocumented students to receive privately funded scholarship money, including the Board of Governors’ fee waiver for community college students and most university scholarships at UCLA.
