The 25th annual Street Scene music festival was held in the East Village of downtown San Diego on Aug. 28-29. This year’s festival included performers the Black Eyed Peas, M.I.A., Public Enemy, Thievery Corporation and Modest Mouse.

The annual Vans Warped Tour 2009 at the Home Depot Center in Carson. Warped Tour featured both popular and lesser known artists on five stages, performing from Aug. 21 – 22.

The annual Rock The Bells 2009 concert at the San Manuel Amphiteatre in San Bernardino on Saturday, Aug. 8. The concert featured performances by Nas, Damian Marley, Cypress Hill and The Roots.
