Bruins won't be missing Malcolm Lee on Thursday

The UCLA men’s basketball team will play its quarterfinal matchup at full strength.

That is to say, it will have of its players. The strength part is a different story.

Junior guard Malcolm Lee, who sustained a small cartiledge tear in his left knee against Washington State, was “very limited” in practice today according to a team spokesperson.

UCLA baseball beats Nebraska 1-0 in 11 innings

Gerrit Cole is back on track.

The UCLA junior All-American pitcher who gave up five hits in a loss to San Jose State a week ago threw nine shutout innings Friday against the Nebraska Cornhuskers to lead the Bruins to a 1-0 win in front of 1,122 fans braving the 30 degree temperature at Nebraska’s Haymarket Park.

It was the second time in his career that he has thrown the full nine innings.
