HOUSTON “”mdash; We take you on the field and inside the locker room at Houston’s Robertson Stadium following UCLA’s 38-34 loss to Houston to open the 2011 season.

In the first video, you’ll see the UCLA sideline during the last five minutes of the game and hear from coach Rick Neuheisel and defensive coordinator Joe Tresey.

The second video features your UCLA football beat writer, Sam Strong, and Los Angeles Daily News UCLA football beat writer Jon Gold as they chat from the field at Robertson Stadium about what they saw from the press box.

UCLA coach Rick Neuheisel talks with reporters after Thursday’s practice, the last one the Bruins will have before leaving for Houston, Texas to take on Case Keenum and the Houston Cougars.

Neuheisel’s three team captains will be safety Tony Dye, linebacker Patrick Larimore and running back Johnathan Franklin.

Another interesting piece of news coming out of Thursday’s practice was Neuheisel naming redshirt freshman Kip Smith the place kicker.
