Underground Artists: Music with Ram Kaundinya
Ram Kaundinya, a third-year cognitive science student, shares his experience studying Indian classical music. Learning to play the tabla, a percussion instrument, at age five was among his first musical exposures. Kaundinya, who is also a digital humanities minor, hopes to combine his interest in science and virtual reality with his passion for music.

During the Greek/Balkan Culture Night, dance co-director Cynthia Harper teaches a tutorial for the song “Kalamatiano / Syrto,” which involves repeated foot steps and group interactions.
