The Bruins did better in Corvallis.

Sunday’s meet was not what the UCLA gymnastics team was hoping for.

The No. 2 Bruin gymnastics team proved to be unstoppable once again this weekend in its first and only quad meet of the season.

Two weekends ago, after the UCLA women’s gymnastics team beat Arizona State in Tempe, the team was hoping to continue its winning streak against Stanford on Sunday.

It is now the second third of the season in women’s gymnastics and the all-arounders, who have been mostly freshmen, are in need of serious rest.

So far this season, the freshmen gymnasts have basked in their fair share of the spotlight.

Following last weekend’s two gymnastics meets, the No. 3 UCLA women’s gymnastics team will now travel to Tempe, Ariz. to compete against No. 16 Arizona State.
