Crime Log – April 14, 2008

BURGLARY
A laptop, charger, money and alcohol were removed from an apartment on the 500 block of Glenrock Avenue on April 6 with unknown losses.

A laptop, charger, backpack, and Playstation games worth a total of $1,090 were removed from an apartment on the 500 block of Landfair Avenue on April 6.

A key cabinet at Seeds University Elementary School was forced open between April 11 and 14 with unknown losses.

GRAND THEFT
A laptop worth $2,000 was discovered missing from Powell Library between March 17 and March 18.

On April 1 the suspect fled from a Wells Fargo on the 10900 block of Wilshire Boulevard with an estimated $700 or more of the victim’s money.

GRAND THEFT AUTO
A 2001 Toyota Tacoma was removed from the 400 block of Landfair Avenue between March 31 and April 1.

HIT AND RUN
A small bus struck a skateboarder on Kinross Avenue on April 2.

GRAND THEFT
A monitor worth $500 was removed from the Engineering IV building between Jan. 4 and Jan. 5.

GRAND THEFT AUTO
A ’70 BMW was removed from a parking lot on Tiverton on Jan. 7.

A motor scooter was removed from the corner of Levering and Gayley between Jan. 6 and Jan. 8.

ROBBERY
Ten thousand dollars were taken from a Bank of America on Wilshire by an armed man on Jan. 4.
