Student-organized installation festival opens doors to open-source operating system

Students and community members gathered at Boelter Hall on Saturday, October 3rd, to have the Linux Users Group install the free Linux operating system on their laptops.

Radio: Fowler Museum at UCLA hosts two exhibitions on Aboriginal art.

Local collector Richard Kelton and guest curator Kerry Smallwood delivered the closing lectures for the Fowler exhibits, “Icons of the Desert” and “Innovations in Western Desert Painting,” which featured Australian Aboriginal art that was created in the small Aboriginal community of Papunya.
