Undie Run dismissal is shortsighted
In his article “Good riddance to Undie Run at UCLA” (Aug. 3), Saif Ansari wrote, “I don’t care that Undie Run is now a part of UCLA culture” and that “Undie Run is about recklessness and abandon.” I would ask you why you do not care about a part of UCLA culture and strongly disagree with you on the latter point.

Russian doubles team wins tiebreak in first day of LA Tennis Open
In the final match of the first day of the LA Tennis Open, the doubles team of Russians Igor Kunitsyn and Marat Safin took down Marcos Baghdatis of Cyprus and Dudi Sela of Israel in an 11-9 tiebreaker after splitting the first two sets, 6-7 and 6-2.
