This was the second event put on by the Sparks where they had players go out into the community and speak with Los Angeles youth as an attempt to promote literacy at inner-city schools.

It started out as a fairly energized practice for UCLA with most players doing a solid job staying active and disciplined, but as the day wore on mental errors started compounding, leading to poor results and several substitutions.

Akeem Ayers and Rahim Moore were the faces of UCLA football. Both players were multi-year starters who made major contributions during their time as Bruins. Ayers, an outside linebacker, compiled 183 tackles, 14 sacks and six interceptions while at UCLA, and Moore, a free safety, contributed 186 tackles and 14 interceptions.
