Submission: Coalition looks to collaborate with UCLA to maintain perpetuity of Hannah Carter Japanese Garden
On Feb. 9, UCLA Chancellor Gene Block wrote a piece in the Daily Bruin stating that the sale of the Hannah Carter Japanese Garden is in the university’s best interests. The organizations and the family of Hannah Carter who have formed the Coalition to Save the Hannah Carter Japanese Garden respectfully submit that other options are possible, and, indeed, preferable.

The Characters of Dance Marathon 2012: DreamWorks
Every three hours, participants in UCLA’s Dance Marathon change costumes according to a series of themes. From 6 a.m. to 9 a.m., the theme was “DreamWorks,” where dancers were encouraged to dress as their favorite Dreamworks and Pixar film characters. See a few of the costumes that resulted.
