Letter to the editor: CURE essential to UCLA community

Pinched by a budget shortage, student groups have had to scale back and cancel programming events that better the UCLA community. CURE, the Contingency USABOD Referendum Enactment, is a referendum that will increase student fees by $3 a quarter in order to help address these issues, and it is the most stable and effective solution to save the programs that have made our campus great.

Men's tennis to host NCAA Regionals; two Bruins selected at-large for singles championships

This weekend will mark the 19th time that UCLA has hosted the men’s tennis NCAA Regionals, since the NCAA decided to have teams qualify for the championships through regionals rather than just handing out automatic bids to 16 or 18 teams.

Representatives from Theta Xi fraternity and Bruins United are saying that the mistaken endorsement of a contested position in this year’s undergraduate student government elections was a miscommunication among party supporters.
