Student government is consistently plagued with complacency among the student population, but given the circumstances of this year’s GSA elections, which began Monday and will end Friday at noon, this board cannot help but stress its importance and recognize what GSA has done to positively affect UCLA.

It is not often that one has the privilege of witnessing art being created live. However, beginning today, in honor of the 40th anniversary of Ethnic Studies at UCLA, a live mural painting by renowned artist Gronk will take place at the Fowler Museum.

In less than 60 days, doctors in remote areas in California will be able to forward X-rays and scans through secure networks to specialists at various UC medical centers for consultation.
