The United Afghan Club brings the deadly mine fields of Afghanistan to the UCLA campus by transforming the IM field into an educational resource for students at the university.

Eugenio Iglesias, a graduate student from Spain, was forced to put his marathon training on hold after tearing his meniscus earlier this year. He found the path to recovery in the fields of the British countryside while studying abroad.
