In this world, I try to grab on to any amazing, heroic story that manages to creep through all the muck; I think that in order to empower and inspire the student population, these stories need to be highlighted, and the parties involved should receive at the very least a gold star for their merits.
Letter to the Editor: Blueprint LSAT Prep ads disrespect other majors
Coming back to campus this quarter, I was appalled to find that the offensive ads for Blueprint LSAT Prep, which were displayed on the Daily Bruin newsstands all year hadn’t disappeared, but had instead morphed into an even more crude and uncivil affront to our university’s good sense and common decency.

Letter to the editor: Protesters angry about ethics
The problem a lot of these protesters have with the current economic situation is partially that the job market is in bad shape, but their main concern is that many of these bankers depended upon unethical practices in order to receive short-term monetary gain.
