After a constant shuffle of the top three teams in the country throughout the season, the NCAA Championships in Bryan, Texas, presented a chance for the UCLA women’s golf team to solidify where it really stood. By the end of the final round, the view from the top was a beauty.
The women’s golf team took home UCLA’s 107th NCAA title on Saturday in Bryan, Texas.
Purdue took second with a 1,177 ( 25), and Louisiana State rounded out the top three with 1,181 ( 29). The Boilermakers, the defending national champions, were close behind the Bruins for the entire competition.
The UCLA women’s golf team has shifted between the top three spots in the nation all season. This week, the Bruins will solidify their final spot in the national standings.
