Roosevelt Radio to participate in Whisky A Go Go competition

In the 1960s, West Coast rock had a home at the Whisky A Go Go on Sunset Boulevard, where, for a period, The Doors were the house act. UCLA alumna Sarah Morgan and her band Roosevelt Radio are one of the newest additions to West Coast rock and they are getting their turn to play at the Whisky Thursday night.

Morgan plays the keyboard and provides backup vocals for Bay Area-based Roosevelt Radio along with lead vocalist Ben Ross, Adrian Mccullough on bass, Philip Coffin on drums and Joel Line on guitar. They will appear as one of seven finalists in the Whisky’s “Gimme the Gig” competition at 8 p.m. on Thursday. Each band will perform live and the show will be streamed live at gimmethegig.com.
