Gulf Shores plays host to inaugural NCAA beach volleyball championships
GULF SHORES, Ala. – The No. 2-seeded USC Trojans claimed the first-ever NCAA beach volleyball championships after beating No. 1 seed Florida State in a 3-0 sweep on Sunday. Earlier in the day, the Seminoles beat the Bruins 3-1 in the contender’s semi-final, relegating No. 4-seeded UCLA to third place.
Pac-12 hosts first conference beach volleyball championship
USC beach volleyball went undefeated against its conference foes to claim the first-ever Pac-12 Beach Volleyball Championship on Sunday. No. 2-seeded UCLA claimed third place after falling 3-2 earlier in the day in a rematch against No. 3-seeded Arizona.
