LAFD investigating reported arson at Westwood Hills Christian Church

Officials are investigating a reported arson that occurred at the Westwood Hills Christian Church on the corner of Le Conte and Hilgard avenues Friday night.

At about 9:14 p.m., firefighters put out a fire that authorities say was intentionally set in the 61-year old church, according to a Los Angeles Fire Department report released Friday.

Young undocumented students will soon be able to get temporary protection from deportation and be authorized to work, the Obama administration announced today.

Dr. James E. a faculty researcher in the Department of Environmental Health Sciences in the UCLA Jonathan and Karin Fielding School of Public Health, was not reappointed to the research position because his research on air pollution did not align with the department, according to Daily Bruin archives.
