Long Story Short: May 2, 2011

A brand-new Prime magazine comes out this Thursday, and Long Story Short is going au naturale in honor of the new issue’s theme. Daily Bruin Film/TV editor Alex Goodman, a familiar voice on the show, co-hosts alongside Devin Kelly.

This week, we’re embracing the natural things in life. Host Andrea Wang goes behind the scenes at Native Foods cafe to find out how exactly they create their alternative meat. And reporter Emily Chu stops by Midvale Sessions, a biweekly apartment event where students let loose, socialize and celebrate music.

Also, graduate student Garima Singh talks to us about the what, why and how of meditating. And finally, what is most important to you? Students and professors share with us their essential beliefs.

Long Story Short airs Mondays at 6:00 p.m. on UCLAradio.com.
