Starting this week, the Daily Bruin will be accepting creative writing submissions, alternating between poetry during even weeks and short fiction during odd weeks. To coincide with the first round of submissions, the prompt for this week is the idea of “the first.” Poetry submissions should be no longer than 100 words and sent to ae@media.ucla.edu by Wednesday at 5 p.m. Limit two submissions per person, per week. Selected entries will run in the paper on Friday.
