While little is known about De’End Parker, the JuCo guard UCLA signed on Monday, here are a couple of videos that offer a glimpse into his playing style.
Coach Ben Howland went to the junior college ranks for a guard for the second straight year, after signing rising senior point guard Lazeric Jones from John A. Logan College in Illinois in 2010.
Parker averaged 12 points, six rebounds, five assists and one steal per game for City College of San Francisco last season, and led them to the state championship. He previously starred for Lincoln High School in San Francisco.
Parker, who played point guard at CCSF, said that he expects to play the wing at UCLA. If one thing is for certain after watching these clips, it’s that the 6-foot-6-inch guard has some “bounce.”
