X-ray results for UCLA sophomore forward Tyler Honeycutt’s injured right elbow came back negative today, according to UCLA men’s basketball spokesperson Ryan Finney.
Honeycutt originally hurt his elbow during UCLA’s 77-76 loss to Kansas on Dec. 2 but has played in all but one game this season ““ he missed UCLA’s 74-73 win over UC Irvine on Dec. 23 because of a sprained right shoulder ““ and is expected to play in Thursday’s game against California.
A Pac-10 All-Freshman team selection last season, Honeycutt is averaging 13.4 points and a team-high 7.9 rebounds on the year.
