The senior Bruins had finished their final spring football practice on Thursday ““ we asked them what their favorite memories were.

Aaron Hester
Redshirt senior, Cornerback
“This year has been amazing. This is my favorite spring ball ever. I have just loved it. I love the new coaching staff. I love coach (Demetrice) Martin and coach (Jim) Mora. We’re just building something new and
different.”

Sheldon Price
Senior, Cornerback
“I definitely think this spring has been the best. The coaches have been vibing with us and they’re pushing us everyday to get better. I think this spring ball has been the most memorable of all of them.”

Jeff Baca
Redshirt senior, Offensive Guard
“My favorite memory is making it healthy through spring ball this year, knock on wood. Last year I broke my ankle on the second day so it’s been big for me to stay healthy through 15 practices.”

Dalton Hilliard
Senior, Running Back
“Before practice we do something called “˜Pride Alley’ and there was one play where Malcolm Jones … got hit and the coaches started attacking each other. Coach (Steve) Broussard was going at coach (Adrian)Klemm. … It was something I’ll always remember.”

Johnathan Franklin
Redshirt senior, Running Back
“My favorite memory is just coming out here every day and playing with these guys ““ practicing with these guys. It’s been an honor, this is a great group of players and a great group of young men. … It’s been a blessing.”

Jeff Locke
Redshirt senior, Punter
“My favorite memory was probably the first spring ball I had as a freshman. Just not being the redshirt guy anymore – not being the ball bag guy anymore. I was the guy punting. … It felt great. That was the best.”

Richard Brehaut
Senior, Quarterback
“I remember walking into my first meeting and being handed a 75-page playbook that I had to know by the next day. I just remember that initial shock of that first year. I have a lot of good memories that year with the older guys like Kevin Craft. It was great.”

Kevin Prince
Redshirt senior, Quarterback
“I would say my favorite spring ball memory was last year when coach (Rick) Neuheisel had us all out here and split us into eight teams and we just had softball games going in every direction. Alex Mascarenas hit one over Pauley from midfield. That was awesome.”
