- Kristina Sidrak, internal vice president, met with Campus Outreach about tolerance initiative involving the Museum of Tolerance. The group is interested in getting USAC involved and will probably come and do a presentation for them in upcoming weeks.
- Joelle Gamble, external vice president, planned a call-in day on Friday to urge local state legislators to support the passing of the second half of the DREAM Act.
- Raquel Saxe, academic affairs commissioner, met with administrators about getting syllabi online before enrollment appointment times. She said this will give students a better idea of the work required for the class and the breakdown of the grades, which allows them to better evaluate if they want to take that class. Saxe said she hopes to have this project done by the end of the year.
- Saxe has also met with the UCLA Alumni Association in attempts to increase alumni membership. Saxe will also be meeting with the dean and vice provost of undergraduate education in the upcoming weeks to discuss the closing of Covel Peer Learning Center.
