Burglary

A doorknob was broken and a computer, nerve-fiber analyzer and lamp worth $75,800 were removed from the Jules Stein Eye Institute between Feb. 22 and 23.

A laptop and bag worth $2,000 were removed from the Center for Health Sciences on Feb. 23.

Battery

Someone struck and pushed another person near the Delta Terrace residence hall on Feb. 23.

Someone threw a sandwich at another person and hit the rear of a vehicle with their hand, leaving a dent on Feb. 23.

Grand theft

A laptop worth $2,000 was removed from the Jules Stein Eye Institute on Feb. 23.

A laptop, bag, university keys and other personal items worth $830 were removed from Powell Library on Feb. 23.

Tools worth $871 were removed from Dodd Hall on Feb. 23.

A digital projector worth $2,000 was removed from the Life Sciences building on Feb. 26.

Burglary from motor vehicle

The driver’s-side window of a car parked on the 11000 block of Strathmore was smashed and a navigation unit, iPod, wallet and other property worth $1,230 were removed between Feb. 23 and Feb. 24.

The driver’s-side window of a car parked on the 11050 block of Strathmore was smashed and a GPS system and battery chargers were removed on Feb. 24.

Petty theft

A cell phone worth $200 was removed from someone’s purse in Westwood on Feb. 24.

Arrest

Four people were arrested at the corner of Midvale and Levering avenues for jumping on cars in the area.
