Freshman guard Jrue Holiday will declare for the NBA Draft, a team source told the Daily Bruin.
Holiday, the 2008 Gatorade Player of the Year, started every game for the Bruins in the 2008-2009 season and averaged 8.5 points and 3.7 assists per game.
Holiday and UCLA men’s basketball coach Ben Howland will hold a press conference at 5 p.m. today.
Holiday has not hired an agent, which gives him the option to withdraw his name and return to school.
The NBA draft is June 25.
