showing what the real estate business involves, the experiences of
those currently working in the field, and how to get started in the
industry and , members of Alpha Kappa Psi said.

Beloved city peacock ditches 11-year
routine

POMONA “”mdash; A beloved peacock that’s been strutting
around the city’s Lincoln Park neighborhood for 11 years is
missing.

The peacock, known as “Bird” or “Peter”
by local residents, has eluded dogs, cars and animal-control
officers for years.

But since May 11, city residents say, the peacock hasn’t
made his routine appearances in the neighborhood to nibble on
grasses and bread crumbs, or show off his iridescent blue and green
feathers.

“˜”˜There was very much of a routine,”
said Bridget Dunton, a local.

“˜”˜There was something comforting about it
somehow.”

“”˜He shared a bowl with my cat,” Scott
Thomas said. “˜”˜He pretty much let the cats know who was
boss.”

With reports from Bruin staff and wire services.
