The doors to Pauley will open to the public at 9 a.m. but the memorial, which will last approximately 90 minutes, will not begin until 11 a.m. Because of university policy, overnight camping will not be allowed and any person on campus before 5 a.m. will be asked to leave, according to a statement by Marc Dellins, sports information director at UCLA.
Attendants will enter Pauley through Wilson Plaza on the east side of the Intramural Field between John Wooden Center and the North Athletic Field.
According to Dellins’ statement, once inside the Intramural Field, attendants will not be permitted to leave and will lose their place in line if they do so.
Food and drinks are allowed on the Intramural Field but not inside Pauley Pavilion during the ceremony. Cameras, portable chairs, strollers and balloons are also prohibited.
