The Undergraduate Students Association Council is the official student government of UCLA’s undergraduate students. Council meetings are Tuesdays at 7 p.m. in Kerckhoff 417 and are open to all students who wish to attend.

“¢bull; President Cinthia Flores said she would be co-hosting a town hall with the chancellor, vice chancellor and executive vice chancellor on Nov. 23.
“¢bull; Flores also said she has been meeting with Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs Janina Montero, who will attend the USAC meeting on Jan. 1 to talk to the council members about the annual budget.
“¢bull; Internal Vice President Shahida Bawa said her office would be holding a presentation of the Senate bill for health care reform Thursday, with a student lobby workshop immediately following.
“¢bull; External Vice President Susan Li said her office took about 130 people to the Students of Color Conference at UC San Diego last weekend.
“¢bull; Li also said she had been meeting with numerous coalitions and officials to make sure that this week’s Regents meeting is as safe as possible for students.
“¢bull; General Representative Tak Nguyen said his office has been working on the organization of the Bruin Bear Security Force spirit event, which will take place this Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. Students are encouraged to attend.

“¢bull; Cultural Affairs Commissioner Abigail Faelnar said her office allocated $1500 to Samahang Pilipino to fund speakers for a conference it is holding this weekend.
“¢bull; Faelnar’s office also allocated $500 to Christian Students of Conscience to fund supplies for a fashion show it is holding Thursday.
“¢bull;Financial Chair Brian Tan’s contingency allocations were unanimously approved with a vote of 12-0-0.

“¢bull; Student Welfare Commissioner Lucy Wu said her committee is hosting a Student Aids Day which will start Nov. 24 at 10 a.m. in De Neve Plaza.
