Josh Rosen underwent successful surgery on his right shoulder Monday morning, per a press release from UCLA football.

The sophomore quarterback was not admitted to the hospital for the procedure, which treated a soft tissue injury that will keep Rosen out for the rest of the season.

Dr. Ranjan Gupta – a professor of orthopedic surgery at UC Irvine and a shoulder, elbow and hand specialist – performed the surgery.

Rosen sustained the injury in the Oct. 8 game against Arizona State, a 23-20 loss. UCLA expects a full and complete recovery from Rosen, per its press release.
