Several roads around Westwood will be closed Thursday and Friday while President Barack Obama visits West Los Angeles, police said. He will stay at the W Los Angeles – West Beverly Hills hotel in Westwood Village for one night.

Obama is traveling to the area to attend Democratic fundraisers, including an event at Walt Disney Studios Chairman Alan Horn’s home in Bel Air. Obama also visited Westwood in February to attend fundraisers.

LAPD released the following list of road closures and areas that could experience traffic delays during his visit:

  • Hilgard Avenue will be closed from Thursday 4 p.m. to Friday 1 p.m.

  • Drivers should avoid Sunset Boulevard between Beverly Glen and Sepulveda boulevards Thursday from 7:15 p.m. to 8:15 p.m.

  • Drivers should avoid Sunset Boulevard between Royce Drive and Beverly Glen Boulevard from 9 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Thursday.

  • Drivers should avoid Tiverton Avenue between Le Conte and Weyburn avenues from 9 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Thursday.

  • Drivers should avoid Sunset Boulevard between Loring and Burlingame avenues from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday.
