The Undergraduate Students Association Council is the official student government representing the undergraduate student body at UCLA. Agenda
- Election signboards will be placed on campus on April 30 instead of May 1, the council decided in a 7-0-4 vote.
- The council approved the upcoming election ballot in a 9-0-3 vote.
- The council unanimously appointed Johnnie Yaj, a second-year world arts and cultures student, as budget review director.
- The council unanimously appointed Josh Sarna, a third-year chemistry student, to the Community Activities Committee.
- The council approved an allocation of $1,750 from the Contingency Programming Fund.
- The council approved an allocation of $4,000 from the Capital Contingency Fund.
- The council approved an allocation of $162,000 from the Associated Students UCLA Board of Director’s fund.
Officer reports
- Internal Vice President Heather Hourdequin said she spoke to UCPD spokesperson Nancy Greenstein about campus safety initiatives.
- Hourdequin said she also met with the Student Organizations, Learning and Engagement advisors to discuss future events, including student leader networking opportunities.
- Academic Affairs Commissioner Trent Kajikawa said he will discuss the University of California’s financial budget with legislators in Sacramento this week.
