Five UCLA gymnasts earned spots on the All-Pac-12 team UCLA Athletics announced Tuesday.
The conference-champion Bruins garnered first-team nods in three events, with senior Sadiqua Bynum receiving first-team honors in both vault and floor exercise. Senior Danusia Francis made first team on balance beam and junior Angi Cipra qualified for first team on floor.
No Bruins earned all-around honors. The all-around first team is the first group to be selected, with the top six all-around competitors in the conference qualifying. After those six are chosen, three gymnasts were selected to the first team for each event.
Bynum also earned first-team honors on floor last year.
