UCLA sophomore Bronte Law was named the 2015 Pac-12 Women’s Golfer of the Year, the conference announced Wednesday in its annual individual awards.
Law was the Bruins’ consistent leader in 2015, posting a conference-high 71.91 stroke average over 31 rounds, as well as showing two first place finishes. She was awarded Pac-12 Women’s Golfer of the Month two times during the season and ended the season ranked No. 3 in Golfweek Magazine’s individual rankings.
This is the second-straight year that a Bruin has won the award, with former player Alison Lee taking the honors in 2014. Lee started the fall season with UCLA before leaving the team to start her professional career in December.
The 2015 Bruins earned 15th place at the NCAA championship in Bradenton, Fla., in late May, and will return six of their eight team members next season.
