UCLA football received its second verbal commitment in two days from a Crespi Carmelite High School standout Friday morning. Three-star defensive lineman Marcus Moore decided to join teammate Jalen Starks in the Bruins’ 2016 class, reported Edward Lewis of Rivals.com.
Starks, a two-star fullback, made his commitment Thursday night, and told Bruin Report Online that he was actively trying to convince Moore to join him.
“I’m already working on Marcus to get him to go with me and ball out at UCLA,” Starks said.
It didn’t take long, as the 6-foot-2-inch, 240-pound high school junior took a little more than 12 hours to make his decision.
Moore had received offers from the University of Miami, the University of Nevada, Reno, and Washington State University before committing to UCLA.
