University police are trying to identify a woman and a man after the woman was seen spraying graffiti near Hedrick Hall Friday afternoon.

The woman sprayed the logo of jazz band Snarky Puppy in orange paint at eight locations between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. near Hedrick Hall, according to a UCPD statement.

Police said the woman was wearing a black and gray baseball jacket, black shorts and black tennis shoes. The man was wearing a gray jacket, a white T-shirt, dark blue jeans and gray tennis shoes.

UCPD does not know if the man also sprayed graffiti, said UCPD spokeswoman Nancy Greenstein.

UCLA Housing was unaware of the graffiti, said a UCLA spokesperson.

No further information was immediately available. The case is still under investigation.
