Bruins for Recovery is an on-campus organization that supports students in recovery from drugs and alcohol by providing a safe environment and engaging in sober activities with other recovering students. These members chose to break their anonymity to talk about their path to recovery and speak out against stigma associated with alcoholism and drug addiction.   1. What a great program! I’m a child psychologist and believe one of the ways to combat addiction is by sharing our stories. I just read a powerful memoir about a teenage girl’s battle with addiction. It’s the best first hand account that I’ve read and I’ve been recommending it to all of the clients I work with who struggle with addiction. Here’s the link for anyone who is interested:
