UCLA football will begin spring practice on March 31 and hold 14 practices at Spaulding Field before the Spring Showcase at the Rose Bowl on April 25.
All spring practices will be open to the public. However, after the bleachers were removed from Spaulding Field early last season, there will only be standing room for fans.
Spring practice will be the first opportunity to see several new UCLA players, including highly touted freshman quarterback Josh Rosen and offensive tackle Zach Bateman, a junior college transfer. Rosen and Bateman both enrolled at UCLA beginning winter quarter.
Other members of the 2015 recruiting class that coach Jim Mora said on National Signing Day he anticipated might be enrolled for spring quarter and able to participate in spring practices are three-star safety Nathan Meadors, four-star outside linebacker Josh Woods and three-star defensive back William Lockett.
