UCLA raised more money than all but 15 colleges in the United States in 2014, according to a survey by the Council for Aid to Education released on Wednesday.
UCLA received $430.28 million in donations last year – an amount ranked 16th in the nation and second among University of California campuses. There are two other UC campuses in the top 20: UC San Francisco and UC Berkeley.
The majority of universities on the list are private schools, with Harvard University collecting the most charitable donations of any university in the United States, and USC coming in third, raising $732 million last year.
UCLA has raised an average of more than $400 million every fiscal year since 2006.
