Grand theft $1,261 Petty theft
Petty theft Five wallets, three cellular
phones, one purse and one parking permit were stolen during this
period, totaling a loss of $591. On Saturday, someone smashed the
rear driver-side window of a vehicle on campus, causing $250 in
damages. Someone stole $150 worth of items from a white Dodge
Dakota parked near the Engineering I building Thursday. A $250
mountain bicycle was stolen Wednesday from the Public Policy
building. Later that day, someone stole $20 from a laundry room
locker on the 3000 block of Sepulveda Boulevard.
Grand theft On Friday, a red 1990 Acura Legend
was stolen from the fifth level of Lot 5. Someone stole a red 1977
Porsche 911 from the third level of Lot 32 on Thursday. Earlier
that day, two computers were stolen from the Geology Building,
amounting to a total loss of $6,550. Dental drills worth $3,500
were stolen from the third-floor clinic of the Center for Health
Sciences on Tuesday. Earlier that day, someone stole a white 1995
Honda Civic from the 400 block of Kelton Avenue.
Miscellaneous Police broke up a fight on Sunday
between UCLA and USC students at Madison’s Neighborhood Grill
in Westwood. Earlier that day, someone in Hedrick Hall received an
annoying phone call. During a routine traffic stop on Charles E.
Young Drive on Friday, police found two knives and a stun gun in a
vehicle. On Thursday, a woman was injured when a shuttle bus shut
its doors on her, injuring her left side. Also, a guest at the
University Guest House reported receiving intimidating phone calls.
A man punched another man in the face Wednesday after a road rage
incident. Police received a report earlier that day that a man was
in a men’s rest room stall for 24 hours in Bunche Hall.
Police shut down a party on the 400 block of Kelton Avenue early
Wednesday morning after suspecting marijuana use. Police reported a
man exposing himself at the Medical Plaza fountain Tuesday.
